I'm dedicated to providing comfortable, long lasting, quality prints. Water based ink looks better and is more comfortable then traditional plastisol ink. Plus the image can't even be felt on the apparel. To top it off, water based is more Eco-friendly and doesn't aid the ramped pollution problem.
Traditionally apparel is printed with plastisol ink, which is a PVC-based ink. In plastisol printing, the ink sits on top of the apparel. Over time, the print will crack and wither away. However, with water based & discharge printing, the ink literally becomes apart of the shirt. The fabric remains breathable, and feels as if the print isn't even there.
Color separation is necessary for all screen prints. You isolate each color, separating the image into a screen (a silk screen) for each separate color. Using each of the colors it's made-up of (spot color), or by mixing primary colors (cmyk, simulated, hsb) you can print almost anything. There are a few color separation technique's; and all have there respective places with screen printing.
